Hello,

Why is it so hard to find Banjo or tablature for Gospel Tunes? I have been looking for Onward Christian Soldiers, On the Wings of a Snow White Dove, and Swing Low , Sweet Chariot. I do not know how to play clawhammer Banjo and just try to play regular 3 finger picking style.

Deleteme says: 11/24/2018 6:46:25 AM I have Dan Levenson - Gospel Tunes for Clawhammer Banjo, Jack Hatfield - Old Time Gospel Banjo Solos and Matthew Allen - 30 Gospel Arrangements for Old Time Banjo. All of these are good for learning gospel songs. If you want to learn all the techniques of playing CH, try Dan Levenson's CH Banjo from Scratch first. With that under your belt you can begin picking out things you know already and keep getting to know your banjo until you can begin to learn and play by ear.
