I have been asked to set this group up. I'm not sure if there are enough possible members to make it viable but it would be fantastic if there are.

I have been working my way through the book for the last 5 months and have currently started to attempt to memorise the 'kitchen sink' tunes and break myself away from the tab.

I have found the method to be excellent, I think Dan's 'bump-a-di-tty' rhythm is natural within a 4/4 setting preventing the possible burning in of possible out of sync 'bum-di-tty' rhythm that could happen with some other methods. The tablature is also easily followed.

I will do my best to always answer direct questions to the best of my ability and admit that there is almost always more than one way to skin a banjo - or play a particular passage. I am thinking about also posting corrections/clarifications to the original book, G/A versions of the exercises and scales and a few G and A tunes in the Scratch progression. (Any requests?) I think some philosophizing about how and why I wrote the book as well as playing music/banjo might be helpful as well.
