8 months in and I am still practising away at the tunes from Clawhammer Banjo From Scratch.
For the last month it's been all about getting speed up a bit, but given I have put in quite a fair amount of practice I think the book provided good value for money.
I think Dan got it correct in that teaching double thumb/drop thumb early is the best way as opposed to bumditty.
It certainly adds to the mix being able to throw in some double thumbs or a drop thumb here and there to quickly spice up a tune or add variety, which I think would have been more difficult had I learned via the bum-ditty route.
