NY Long Island neighbor

Hi,

I'm sort of a beginner...less than two years but need instruction and slow jam experience; need it badly!

I don;t have much of a musical background, trouble hearing what other musicians hear, but love the sound of picking and like to noodle.

Anyone know of anything close to NY (Fairfield County?) that could be good for me.

Thanks,

Barry

Barry, We have a slow jam in Newtown at the United Methodist Church (Sandy Hook) on the Second Thursday of each month. Lots of banjos, all levels. 7:30 to 10. Don't know where you live on LI but the church is just off I 84. I'm assuming we'll be on for January 10th but the town has been through so much, it's just possible it may not happen. Email me to make sure : vmarkant@optonline.net
