I have a Blackjack # 75-0304-4 which is one of the first production. It is a great sounding banjo. I also have a 1999 RB-6 ChkrBrd with a factory Crowe ring in it. It is a monster and plays great. It is my main banjo. I like the sound of the Crowe ring in a mahogany and a curly maple banjo. I believe banjos with the factory Crowe rings will be highly valued in the future. I also believe any of the banjos made by Gibson from the so called Rich Era up to the time Gibson's modern banjo production tapered off and finally got flooded out will be sought after banjos.
