Hey guys. I Recently purchased my 1997 RB-75 from a hangout member and is my favorite of the gaggle of gibsons I own. s/n 75-9701-11 This banjo was on display at the Namm show in 1997 and the previous owner bought it new there. I am assuming the s/n means it was built January 11, 1997. I guess it was one of the 1st 75's built in this particular era if not the first. Maybe someone else in this group might know.

	3fingers says: 2/2/2011 8:16:34 AM Yes he is exactly right, the last two numbers are the ranking number in that batch.I also suppose you could say that it was the 11th rb 75 made in Jan, of 1997.
