hi everyone,got a lovely half fretted tradesman banjo a few weeks ago, second hand. could anyone tell me what the original bridge height would have been please. i ve noticed the head and tension hoop sit out from the pot , and on any other banjos i' ve seen they sit flush. does anyone know why this is? thanks

	bjcole says: 5/8/2011 6:44:05 PM I replaced the taller bridge that came with my scooped fretted Tradesman with a half-inch bridge and never considered going back.
	writerrad says: 5/30/2011 1:16:28 PM Play a humble tradesman At florida folk music I saw someone playing a tradesman identical to mine (ron whistler if anyone knows him give me his email so I can contact him directly). His tradesman sounds exactly as I would want mine to sound. Apart fromt he fact he is a better player, LOL, I asked what he did, he said he used larger strings than the PF160 set that Kevin recommends, does know about this and have any suggestions to get a deeper less tinny sound from a tradesman
