Hi, I'd like to try out some nylon strings on my tradesman. As I'll have to file the nut and pip to fit the strings I'd like to get replacements to put it back to steel. Anybody know what type of nut and pip Kevin uses so as I can get the same/original?

	Enochinst says: 11/21/2015 7:48:51 AM Hey Cuz, The nut is bone and we custom shape and fit them to each banjo. The 5th is a standard 1/8" diameter nut you can get from Stew-Mac, part #0083.
	cuz says: 11/22/2015 1:27:06 AM Thanks for the reply Kevin. With that info I'll leave well alone. I was only trying to get a rough idea of what a fretless with nylon might sound like in our band. There's no way I'm doing anything to this banjo that I can't reverse. I got the 4th and 3rd to sit on top of the nut slots anyway which gave me a pretty good idea. Fretless Tradesman here I go
