I own two Leo Deluxe banjos. One has a serial number in the 200s the other in the 400s. They are a very well built banjo. With a proper set up they can sound very loud and bright but retain a nice low end. I also have a 2005 Goldstar GF-100HF to compare them too. I find the the Goldstar to be much thinner sounding although the mahogany vs. maple thing does come into play. However i always go to the Leo first before the Goldstar. It will not disappoint.
