Just wanted to say hello to everyone, I created this for like minds. I thought it would be a good place to have ongoing discussions about tunes, techniques, history, post videos, etc.

I got a link here a couple weeks ago to a group in england they dig up and archive fiddle tunes from 1700s and 1800s.They are in a music shorthand called ABC.Anyway i downloaded a free abc player and it plays these tunes back in midi.Some collections of 100 or so tunes. Also they have a forum where they assist each other.I like real playing better,but it is quiet intresting listening while i am doing a chore. Couchie after seeing you play liberty in the chatroom i worked up another break for a grand total of 2
