The sixth annual Smoky Mountain Banjo Academy features three full days of classes from Beginner to Advanced, three-finger and old time styles, plus ongoing jamming, mini-concerts, a Banjo Contest with Gold Tone travel banjo as first prize, Guaranteed private lesson with a pro. Everybody is under the same roof in a large lodge facility. Dine, jam and hang out with your banjo heros! The instructors: Kristin Scott-Benson, Dave Ball, Jason Bales, Gary Davis, Wayne Erbsen, Jack Hatfield, James McKinney, Tom Nechville, Ross Nickerson, Don Wayne Reno, Sonny Smith, Marc Smith, Ron Stewart and the amazing Leroy Troy. The dates are May 4th-6th, at Wa-Floy Mountain Retreat near Gatlinburg, TN.
