Mark Bramlett Luthier corrected my RB250

From JavaBen on 10/12/2016 9:18:29 AM

My RB250 had seen some lonely times, where it sat most days in its case.

Being new to banjos, I didn't realize it had fallen into a state where it needed some attention from a luthier, until my teach 'Duck' Akins played it, and recommended that have Mark Bramlett have a look at it.

So after setting up an appointment with Mark, my wife and I drove over to Woodstock GA, where we were entertained and educated by a masterful luthier!

Even as skinny as my banjo chops are, I could hear the difference after Mark finished with the adjustments, including a couple of railroad spikes recommended by Duck.  It sounded great!  I swear it plays better, in addition to sounding much better!  Of course, it doesn't sound like it did when Mark whipped his magic fingers on playing it, but I hear Staples has an Easy Button that will fix that for me.

Mark comes highly recommended by me!

Thanks Mark!

Mark is an upstanding guy and one heck of a good musician himself.
