I have disassembled the pot, cleaned it, (my allergies required such!) and have begun the reassembly process.

1.) Is there an interest in seeing my process?

1.1) Organizing parts, etc.?

1.2) What cleaned & how?

2.) If so, where should I post?

3.) How have you straightened bent hooks?

	jimt says: 11/27/2018 7:38:48 AM Never Dull for the metal, high quality non-silicone guitar polish for the neck and shell and resonator, and either or both gum eraser dry or high quality water based leather cleaner and toothbrush on mounted hide head. If you go liquid leather cleaner, loosen head but do not dismount, allow a couple days to dry and gradually tension to around 88-90 lbs. Have fun. Note where any paper shims are and reinstall them in the same position if there are any in the spring wells.

I have gone through this with BB's and would like to see another persons process, and the final result. You might break it into separate posts on the same topic. Title it "Ball Bearing cleaning" perhaps, with a post here and a link to the topic.
