I am just a couple weeks from having my completed project in my hand.
1928 Gibson TB-1 rim & resonator
JBS/Sloan un-plated tone ring
Mahogany neck by FQMS (bows & leaves)
speed neck & resonator refinished by Clancy
Gibson USA one-piece flange
Waverly tuners
For the icing, I ordered a ebony truss cover with inlaid "1928" in old, elegant MOP script. BTW, I learned that is the same year that Earl started learning the banjo. How cool is that!
Anyway, hoping that this one will be THE banjo for me.
