Have owned a 1927 TB-3 "Diamonds and Snowflakes" conversion solid arch top since 1971. When I bought it ($500) it had a conversion neck by Clerman (C.E.) Ward. It currently sports a nice Marty Lanham neck (since 1977).

	moparcolt says: 3/11/2012 8:19:24 PM sounds like a nice banjo, is the new neck maple? I am having a neck made for my 28' TB-3 and am thinking of having a mahogany neck made for it. What sound difference can be heard between maple and mahogany?
