I'm looking to buy a Gibson 4 string Tenor from around the early 70's. Can someone tell me something about this instrument. Unfortunately I have not been able to get the model or serial #. But I would like to know a bit about Gibsons made about this time. The seller is suggesting something under $500.
I own a cheap banjo at this time and I want to upgrade. I started playing for about a year, self taught, so I still consider myself in the early stage.
