I have a 20 hole tone ring weighing in at approximately 3 lbs with a Gibson logo and serial number 6302 stamped to the right of Gibson logo. This tone ring is from an RB 1 05 serial number with a Gibson Mastertone Nashville full size old style sticker on the opposite side of the serial number. On the top of the rim there is a K written in pencil on top of the unfinished portion of the wood rim about 3 inches from the tailpiece location. Any ideas of year of this ring and any specific banjo information is welcomed. The banjo is mahogany, double bound with concentric rings on the back of the resonator, Mastertone block at the 21st fret, bound neck with fleur-de-lis design, Rosewood finger board - no spikes, double cut peghead, and Gibson labeled tailpiece. No other identifiable markings on the banjo. Any help is much appreciated!
Thanks,
Scott
