Serial number - year of Mfg

i was wondering if there's a method to determine age of a Gold Star age using the serial number?

I have a GF 100 that I was told was purchased new in 2013. I love this one, it's an upgrade from a Harmony that I had as a kid and I feel fortunate to have such a nice banjo to learn on.
