I have a Goodtime Americana that I've been playing for over a year now. I also have a Deering Vega Olde Tyme Wonder w 12" pot. Nevertheless I'm all fired up. Got an email today saying that my new Deering Goodtime Parlor banjo will be arriving the middle of next week.

Can't wait! Having some shoulder problems and I'm hoping the the shorter scale will make it so I can play the Parlor banjo those days when the longer scales are a bit too much of a stretch.

Even if it doesn't make playing on my bad days easier it's a very cool new banjo! Yeah!
