The band came out ... I haven't been to see them in 30 years. New guy David Mosher on mandolin and fiddle, Willard, playing great , Charlie, and Paul. At times they get a sub if one can't make a gig.

Charlie starts to talk about their 42 years ... same guys and is glad Dick ( fiddle) is with them today, turns out this was a little tribute for him as he has cancer. They still played great and tried to put on a fun show, but turned out to be a sad evening for many of us.

They were good and spot on. The new guy has known Dick 23 years and I guess he played most of the instruments on Dick's solo fiddle CD. They still work well together and have fun but it was a reality evening for them and their fans.

They did a little gospel song that I can't remember the name ... pretty good tune. Funny line was Charlie said Paul is a vegetarian and probably the best in shape of them all. But then said that Willard countered, 'If God didn't want us to eat animals, why did he make them out of meat?"

Still fun and I hope they continue. I think that is Dick's wishes. He seemed to really enjoy himself and David Mosher is a great musician and very good singer as well.
