I've done a bit of searching on here. Has there been any discussion on how many of these patent 1867 Dobsons remain? I'm sure that's an obscure item to guess on, but I was just wondering if there's information out there that anyone would know about.

Also, how come no one has posted in this group in like 3 years?

	Mark Ralston says: 4/20/2023 7:40:41 AM I'm working on a H. C. Dobson 1867 Pat'd fretless. It has what could be the numeral 114 stamped inside the pot above the square dowel hole. I know that later H. C. Dobsons had serial numbers..... anyone know about the use of serial #'s on the 1867 pat'd model ? I can't figure out how to post pictures here, will post some on my Facebook page.
	tbchappe says: 4/20/2023 8:17:39 AM From what I've seen the Dobson serial numbers are sporadic at best. Then again, I'm no expert.
