Showed up Saturday night at the Fiddlers Dream Coffeehouse's 25th Anniversary weekend show(in Phoenix, Az), to see Mr. hill live and in person on stage with the spoons installed on his Helix, and blasting thru the room!

Wow, building banjos is not the only talent that Mr. Hill possesses. He's quite the entertainer and The Helix banjo keeps up nicely.

But, the really important thing is (to me anyway), I got my order nailed down for the Jupiter #3!

Yes that's right boys and girls, Jupiter #3 is ready for takeoff. I can't wait, till I get my hands on Larry's next masterpiece. Especially after hearing what a banjo like this can do in the hands of a master.

I really like the way Larry would go back and forth from Claw to 3 finger style on his Helix. This banjo can do it all!

Anyway I'll keep you posted on the progress. I just wanted to tell everyone that Mr. Hill is a real character, and a pleasure to work with so far.

	fixj says: 1/16/2012 11:15:17 AM A rare combination of artist, craftsman and character. Watching the banjo 'build' was a big part of the deal for me. Larry's workshop is his 'other' stage. Congratulations on your decision. (tip...the little dog will stop barking as soon as he sees you holding a banjo).
