I have them on all my banjos but one...love the sound, look, and feel. How about you?

	Banjolution says: 4/10/2011 9:04:48 PM I tried to install one on a past Banjo and broke it. It blew up in my face! Then I attempted it on another banjo and ended up with the tension hoop sitting way to high. Finally...third times a charm,I installed one on an old L&H I refurbished and it turned out great! That one was goat. Sounded wonderful. I now own 2 Banjos with calf skin on both. I have only been playing for a few years. So far I love the warm tone that a real skin gives me. It seems more "natural" as well,if you know what I mean. The old Rogers head on my White Laydie seems really stable as far as humidity goes. I wonder if this is because it's so old. I love my hide heads!!
