Well
Here I am several months later, and I am gonna stick another "hide" on the GF-85. I am gonna get another one from Mr. Miller, (he has a good deal going, if you send back your flesh hoop and label, that is, if you bought from him initially). I am also going to try to use a 'drum dial" this time, to help gage the tension as I tighten it up. BTW, I still can't get that tone out of my head, (the tone that I had previously with a "hide" on the 85! It was incredible!!!!). I do have a couple of questions, if anyone would care to pass along any info..... What lbs. setting to you shoot for when setting a "hide" with a drum dial, (for bg picking on a reso flatop?). Also, what type of water proofing agent do you use, (where can I get "rain & stain/)?
