I am looking for someone in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area to install skin heads. I have failed miserably.

	frfiddle says: 5/11/2012 2:19:06 AM I have tried two of Bill Miller's pre-mounts. The first failed due to my own stupidity; I did not follow Bill's instructions. The second I followed them to the letter. Both cases the head tore. The banjo is a Reiter Galax. But if I could ever get it to work I would like to have skin heads on my Tubaphone and Ramsey fretless as well. But I am running out of money buying skin heads, which I cannot get to work.
	frfiddle says: 5/11/2012 4:12:10 PM Update. I am trying an unmounted goat skin head that I got from Elderly. So far so good. We will see tomorrow, when I do the final tightening. I actually think that although an unmounted head is more work, it is easier than a mounted head.
