The Link here is to a photo of a Bill Miller white "standard" calfskin head that I just mounted on my Reiter pot. I bought the skin from Bill 5 1/2 years ago.
I don't know how to attach a photo to this post.

I followed Bill's mounting instructions.
It's still wet. I mounted it so that the stretcher band extends 3/8" above the surface of the head. I hope that when it's dry and tight that the band will extend only 1/16"-1/8" high.
That's the hope...
If the stretcher band is too high when I'm done, can I re-wet the head and lower it?
