Hello all hide heads. I am new to this forum. I have mounted a hide head before, but it was for someone else's banjo. I finally tried a medium goatskin for my StewMac kit banjo. It seems to have settled in, but I have noticed something. It seems, after I tune up, the strings start to go sharp. I would almost expect flattening of the tuning, but not sharp. Any thoughts or explanations?
