Hello, all,
Count me in as a new, completely satisfied member of the John Balch 4-star goatskin head fan club. I just received my beautiful head, (apologies to the goat) pre-mounted, from John, and with a little trial and a few errors, successfully attached it to my new Reiter Buckbee banjo. It sounds and plays great, retaining much of the original sparkle of the brass tone ring, and adding a whole new depth to the bottom end. Plus, it looks great, too. If I can figure out how to add a photo, I will do so shortly.
Great work, John, and thanks for all the help and advice!
Chuck
