Hide Head On My Clifford Essex?

From CEParagon124 on 5/30/2015 7:31:27 AM

So, I'm so surprised and pleased with the results of the hide head installation on the banjo rebuild I did, I'm seriously considering putting one on my Clifford Essex Paragon five string.

Any reason I should not do that?

It will require a pretty extensive dismantling of the instrument.

It would be no different than changing the head, with the execption of dealing with the wet hide and having a flesh hoop.
