Hello, My great grandmother used to play a little banjo (think it's a plecto from the 20's, looks like it was made with a small pot). Anyhow it has a 7" 1/4 head on it that's broke & does anyone have a link I can buy a replacement head for it? (It's a skin head).

I tried once before years ago including taking it to a music store here in Denver (no kidding) but didnt have any luck at all.

Any ideas? I'd so very much appreciate any ideas!

	jbalch says: 6/8/2016 6:17:17 PM That is an odd rim size. The head will most likely need to be custom mounted directly on your rim and hardware. It is no big deal. If your local shop can't accommodate you, I can help. It is a simple matter for you to remove the neck and ship the rim to me. I can mount a new skin head and return it in a week or so.
