selling #99

From john bange on 3/30/2019 6:47:20 AM

I have my beautiful #99 listed for sale on the BHO classifieds,  I want to have Zach build me a 10" C scale twin to #99, only with 4 strings.

I have gradually warped into playing more ukulele than banjo or guitar.  I see a 10", C scale, 4 string, 19 fret as a perfect baritone scale banjo/uke.  I am toying with a 5 string, however, using baritone ukulele tuning and a G drone.

still planing on a new, baritone scale banjo/ukulele from Zachary but I just can't let my big banjo go...cancelled the ad. my 12" Hoyt banjo is just a big baritone ukulele with a G drone 5th string and if I fill the pot up with shirts, I can play it with our ukulele group without drowned out others...unless I want to.

I ordered #107 C scale from Hoyt. It got from NY to Seattle in one day.
I have strung it with baritone ukulele strings plus a G drone. It plays perfectly and the walnut is beautiful. Gonna drown out a bunch of ukuleles tomorrow night.

I guess I'm still selling #99. I just don't play it. #107 is so good and loud, I have relisted my big banjo on the usual sites.
