New Banjo on the way :)

From Geekmason on 6/30/2011 7:40:59 PM

Hi guys,

I've just placed a small deposit on a new Deering Goodtime 2 Irish Tenor (GT2-17, with resonator) here in Australia. I should get it delivered next month (hopefully earlier) and then i'll be on my way (finally ;).

Do any of you know much about this model of Banjo? Are there any simple/easy modifications i should consider to make it sound a little better? Or are they great out of the box? I am wondering how difficult it is to change out the tuning pegs (side mounted) for rear facing types. Not sure how difficult that could be.

Regards

GM
