Good morning, I am looking for some sound files/tunes from members to hear how "Finger Picking Cords"...sound....do you have any???

We all start somewhere and it's nice to look back on your beginning and judge your progress. Very self satisfying.

Thank you for the compliments. I don't consider myself any great shakes on my instruments. Just play for fun. I do 3 finger picking, however, I jump around sometimes, thumb on 3 or 4 and index or middle on 1,2 or 3. Sometimes a thumb strum thrown in where appropriate. I frequently skip strings in the pattern and emphasize others. Can't explain exactly how, my fingers just do it. Hope this helps a bit.

	Grumpy1 says: 11/10/2012 10:47:12 PM Keep working on that one Don. It's a good one to practice with. I strum it and try to get the rhythm upbeat while I thow in a few made up comical verses. "Eight foot tall, that ain't all, she plays college basketball, has anybody seeeen my gal" etc. etc.. Get yourself a cheap handheld recorder ($59 +/-) by Sony or whoever that plugs into your computer for download. Then edit it and playback using the supplied software. You'll notice improvement right away as you can truly hear your mistakes and areas where you do well, so you can work on it. Then post on the BHO. Keep on pickin" my friend.
