Link to Klezmer now on my "banjojudy" site

From BANJOJUDY on 12/4/2015 5:57:33 PM

I recently joined a Klezmer Jam that meets twice a month in Albuquerque,NM.  I am familiar with much of the music, and find that playing in double d tuning makes many of the Dm songs work splendidly.

I am using my site (banjojudy.com) to help organize myself and get the songs out to others who might also be interested.

Take a look at http://www.banjojudy.com/klezmer-music/.

Things are just getting started on the site, and there is no banjo tab (yet), but the songs listed are really easy to figure out, and I do show the key and chords.

Way cool! I'm still a terrible banjo player but klezmer is what I want to play and I've finally reached the point where I can start putting things together on my own. Your site is going to speed things up for me and hopefully for others too. Thanks!

Thanks to Carl Baron for emailing me this morning and allowing me to post some of his Klezmer information and banjo tabs on my site. Here's a great way to spend the weekend.banjojudy.com/2015/12/der-broi...er-banjo/

Linked by BrentSims 11 years ago: While this is not a klezmer tune it is in the "matzo ball" so-to-speak and I figured the group could use a bit of activity.
