Hi. Just joined this group and wondering if there are any pickers in the Detroit Downriver area.

	tombrien says: 1/30/2011 7:21:19 AM Hey Frank, I'm not downriver, but somewhat close. I live over in Berkley. Near Royal Oak, Oak Park, Southfield, if that helps any. I'm always looking for people in this area to pick with. You can look at the Michigan Musicians Collective for open mic nights and coffee houses that offer times to pick in public, if that appeals to you at all. I have attended a couple, and had a great time, Tom
	Bob C says: 2/5/2011 7:37:59 PM Hello Frank, I am in Gibraltar. I usually tell people that I am a Banjo Owner, not a picker. But I try. I took lessons for about four years from a great instructor. I did not seem to have what it takes, but I haven't given up. There is always hope.
