I'm still here! Nothing much to post except that I am excited now that I have worked my way up to learning "Foggy Mtn Breakdown" !

The Henry Family's energy has been distracted for the last six weeks with Casey's new baby. We'll be back on the air soon!

Haha! My dad posted that above post from my computer and it looked like I said it. But it's totally true.

Oh.... This place has bounced back into action.

I guess all it needed was someone to start the ball rolling.

So what y'all working on right now? I just finished learning two tunes from the MM DVDs these past coupla weeks. Clinch Mtn Back Step and Sally Goodin.

I've still some work to do on Sally Goodin to smooth things out and get it up to speed.

It has a low break and a high break and it was a great challenge and I had a lot of fun with this one.

Hello Tam, I am workingf on Old Home Place and I am almost done with it. Just have to finish the ending. My next song will be Nine Pound Hammer. Anybody else working on anything? Winter is almost here and a good time to sit by the fire and eat and pick. Have fun.

Trying to learn a low break for Lonesome Road Blues. The tab I have (I suppose I shouldn't say that on the Murphy's Misfits group page - twenty lashes or something due?) is a real bear. Its by Lee Marcus. I'm struggling with it. Sure would like to hear about a better option.

Hi Wayne
If my memory serves me correctly. The chord progression for Two Dollar Bill is the same as LRB... That being the case you can use the lesson from the Misfit's DVD. Lee Marcus' TABs are great but can be quite challenging. Or was it Long Journey Home... I am not 100% sure but I gets someone will correct me.
