Hello everyone, just wanted to say Hi. I just picked up a bunch of Murphy's DVD's from another member here at BH. I'm just starting out again. Last attempt was less than successful (back in college 14 years ago.) I'm a see it and hear it then play it kinda person so these DVD's are just what I needed to jump start my playing. Thank you very much Murphy, Casey, and the whole family for helping all the new banjo players out their. And thank you very much to all the people of this group and BH. Its nice to see a bunch of good folks out their in support of everyone else's playing. Its a refreshing thing to see, when I mostly see the other side when at work.

PS Congratulations Casey and the Henry family, I have a 22 month old boy and he's great. I love it when he sees my banjo and yells "Banjo!!!! Play it."

I learned a lot of "building block" for Scruggs style picking info from Murphy's DVDs that I never could get from tab or playing by ear (the way I learned guitar). I felt that they gave me the breakthrough I needed after years of struggling.
