I'm a big fan of the Murphy Method for all Bluegrass instruments. They are doing a Half Price Summer Sale from now through Sunday 8-21. Half price on DVD and Digital downloads usually means $14.98 on most videos. Various banjo videos from beginner to Advanced, Backup, Songs in C and D shapes, Earl tunes and Ralph Stanley songs as well as fast and slow play-along videos. Although banjo is my main instrument they have also helped me with guitar, mandolin, bass, fiddle and singing.
PS-I prefer the digital download. As long as I know my account log-in info I can use it on any computer, tablet or phone and I don't lose or scratch a disc.
