Hey guys - wanted to give you a "heads up" that I have put my AA Farland Artist Grand Tenor Banjo up for sale in the classifieds. It has an interesting story concerning it allegedly being owned by the late, great John Hartford.

Everything is detailed in the ad.

	starhopper says: 5/3/2013 1:25:23 PM No sir - he was referring to the 5-string - not the tenor. The pic I use as my avatar is the 5-string. The tenor is it's "baby brother"
	Norand says: 5/3/2013 2:31:13 PM Wonderful. I just got into Hartford recently. I just simply can't stop playing Morning Bugle on repeat. It's the best album I think I have ever heard. The man was a true artist, and I don't use that word lightly. Very best of luck with your sale. A lucky buyer will have a piece of banjo history.

	stanger says: 8/19/2013 8:36:17 PM My brother owns a Farland 5-string one grade down from yours. It has the same size pot and woods, and the carved heel, but the inlays are less fancy. It's a great sounding old banjo.
	skylands says: 1/15/2024 10:32:54 AM I have a Concertone Custom that seems the perfect instrument to use for low-tuning. When did John Hartford begin using low tuning, and did he ever low tune back in his Fender Concertone days?
