I have just placed my order from Bret at Nechville for the hybrid tone ring. I am doing this mostly to reduce the weight. I have listened to the comparison video and found the hybrid a little more to my liking than the full wood tone ring. My question is for thos who have a hybrid tone ring and Ren head, what tension do you prefer and why? Looking forward to my new tone ring.

	glosardo says: 11/24/2021 4:48:53 PM I don’t have a ren head, but I have the Vintage with a hybrid tone ring and love the results. I keep the tension at about 91. I tried a full wooden tone rim with my Classic and hated the tone, switched it back to brass.

	DocSavino says: 2/11/2022 8:40:05 AM getting my first Nuvo in a week or so! found a necvil nuvo at an estate auction, won it and sent over to Tom Nechville to resurrect it! went with the Hybrid tone ring!
