Howdy "Y"all and glad to find banjo hangout and all this neat stuff . I'm banjo pick'in a five string gold tone orange blossum 250 . I had some good set up folks work on mine from new so plays and sounds great .Use medium gauge strings on heavy side right now . Playing about 90% bluegrass music . Favorite songs right now are one version of cotton eyed joe (play several versions ) and Dooley and no it's not tom dooley song . I have'nt got much experince and only about 15 months of steady playing but play every morning and evening i can and love the fun i have found in playing and being a part in the world of music . The early moring playing is like yoga work outs to me . Hope to get to know you folks and maybe can learn more about learning experinces . Happy Pick'in
