Hey thanks to everyone for joining up! What are some good festivals from around our great state? I know I will be at Merlefest this year! How about you guys?

	CurtissWhite says: 12/19/2011 8:25:07 PM Hi Matt. I tend to avoid the huge crowds, as I've heard happens at Merlefest. I stay busy over here in the Western Carolina mountains. But, might hook up here at BHO with some pickers that might make it worth while to go. I'll look forward to meeting up with ya! :o)
	tampaenoch says: 12/20/2011 7:19:55 PM I thought I might check out Lil John's Mountain Music Festival this year in Snow Camp. It's in my area and I've always meant to get out to it. The Shakori Hills festivals are always fun and I'm always pleased to see jams all around the site throughout the festival weekend. I had the pleasure of seeing Bela Fleck there twice too! I definitely want to check out Merlefest this year as well. I was kind of wondering about the Charlie Poole Music Festival in Eden. Has anyone ever been?

	banjohurricane says: 1/2/2012 3:49:34 PM I should be at the Merle Fest this year I was told that we will be playing on the Cabin Stage this year but we will see. We always run the Open Mic Stage every year with Tutt Taylor so come pay us a visit. I get bullitins for festivles all the time but there are so many if I am not looking at the ad I just don't remember but when I get home I will look some of these up and let ya'll know.

	banjohurricane says: 1/3/2012 7:38:00 PM There is the Kingston Winter Bluegrass Festival Feb. 17-18 2012, There is also the Denton Festival in Denton NC Don't have the exact date they moved it to the Fall I believe can't fide the mailer, The Bass Mtn. Bluegrass Festival is always a good one around Labor Day. I will keep you posted on others when I can find them.
