I host a monthly bluegrass jam at a venue called The Hub in Vandalia, Ohio every 2nd Thursday of the month between 7-9pm. We play mostly traditional bluegrass and we regularly have an acoustic bass player on hand. Everybody can pick a song and you don't have to sing or take a break if you don't want to.
We often hold extra jams too due to peoples' schedules so if you can't make the 2nd Thursday, let me know. I can fill you in on when/where we also play and likely work with your schedule.
