i bought mine in 1983, when I was the Ome dealer for SC. Mine is maple with abalone inlays. Its a 5 string that I play bluegrass with. I visited Chuck once, toured the shop, went to his home for a party and picking. Great guy too. I kept dealership until you were required to have a separate building.
