Thanks to Larry Hill, a.k.a. "Helix" here at the Hangout, I found out about the Fiddler's Dream open mic, via Zoom. It's based in Phoenix, Arizona, and features people from all around the world. The host is Glen Gardner, who also suggests ways for participants to overcome their connection problems and generally keeps things moving smoothly. Lately we've been able to do two songs a night (two one song rotations). Some of the players are amazing! It's also live streamed on Facebook, and recorded for later viewing. It's been a fun time!

This surprised us all. We've been able to keep the lease while closed thanks to people live streaming to their friends who are able to make small donations . We've been closed for almost two years, But we are up and playing and coming close to 100 weeks on Zoom. This is the best of hand made music shared. Thank you Paul. ( ):)==='= ::}
