Last night at the jam I was playing the Les Paul and wandered over to stand by Lorne, our steel guitar player. June, one of our singers (she's really, really good!), was walking toward the back when she tripped over my guitar cord and went flying, face first. She had her old Gibson acoustic guitar in her hand. Fortunately, the guitar wasn't damaged (that I could see), but she really banged her knee. She said she was okay (except for the knee). From now on, I stay on my side, or leave the electric guitar at home. I'm seriously thinking about cutting back on the number of instruments I bring (two guitars, two banjos, and a mandolin).
