A publication (Mother Jones) has obtained and published Pete Seeger's FBI file.

I'm starting to plow through it, and it makes interesting reading. I'll withhold comment until I'm done but so far, it sure looks like the FBI turned up a whole lot of nothing. It looks like Pete first attracted the attention of the Army/FBI when he was in the Army and wrote a letter protesting a proposal by the California American Legion to deport all Japanese Americans.
