	vintagewells says: 2/13/2011 6:24:10 AM Oh dear, just remember that building banjos is addictive! Can't stop at just one! The thing that slows me down is tension hoops. I have difficulty finding the brass for them. Especially since they aren't all 11 inch rims! I picked up an iron ring half inch wide, eighth of an inch thick and about 9" in diameter. Now I'll have to make a rim to fit! It is pretty crude, but with a bit of filing and sanding it might work. I was thinking of painting it when finished, maybe black enamel. Or hot pink!

	David Cunningham says: 2/16/2011 8:31:06 PM Banjo tragic is certain. Anyhow - I just finished putting together my first banjo. No resonator yet and I have a slight 5th string buzz but overall I'm happy with the way it turned out. My OB-250 sounds pretty good to me but this new one KILLS it. I think I had beginners' luck. I'll break it in a couple weeks then do a little closer setup.
