I counted up today and I've built 12 banjos and a 13th that should be finished by the end of the month. I've also built two banjolas. One is more or less finished and I just got the other one playable, though still needing some work. I still own eight of the banjos and of those, I play three or four regularly. Which instrument I play depends on what music I'm into at the moment - Minstrel, clawhammer, or celtic.

I've only owned one banjo I didn't build, and it wasn't much good.
