For those of you who haven't heard yet. Chick Rose has passed away. Chick was very well known in the Northwest bluegrass scene and will be sorely missed.

	schwimbo says: 3/22/2011 11:10:59 PM There has been lots of information about Chick posted at the nwbluegrass site (part of Yahoo groups), including a nice biographical piece by Joe Ross. It doesn't take the place of having him here live with us all, but it is nice to read about him and his accomplishments (teaching people to enjoy and play bluegrass), and get a sense of what we will be missing.

Sure beats to hell about 95% of what passes for picking around here. He has done much to ensure that Bluegrass will be around after the rest of us old folks pass along too. And, he was a decent picker too. Miss you Chick!
